BSI Group eDiscovery & digital forensics consultant in Dublin, Ireland

Participate and consult in eDiscovery and Forensic client engagements end-to-end playing a key role in successful delivery of a high class service.

The eDiscovery and Digital Forensics Consultant is responsible for making sure the client receives the proper service through proactive attention to planning, analysis, execution, and proper close-out on a project. The consultant is responsible for providing clients with support in their eDiscovery and digital forensics cases. The support would range from technical support in managing, analysing, and reporting data to consultancy and advice on how to apply BSI methodologies and best practices in forensic and the eDiscovery investigations. This is a technical consultancy role where the consultant will be working in a team using state of the art forensics and eDiscovery software.

As a result you will;

  • Support and provide expertise and recommendations to clients throughout an eDiscovery case: from data collection, processing and review to production. BSI follows the EDRM process in litigation and regulatory matters.

  • Conduct forensic data acquisitions and participate in forensic investigations with Senior Consultants and Technical Leads.

  • Drafting project reports and investigation reports.

  • Work closely with the Technical Leads, Project Managers and other consultants on a matter to ensure that lines of communication between the client and BSI are established and maintained during the course of the engagement and that a mutual understanding of the scope of work and related costs exists between both parties.

  • Be part of a dynamic team of highly experienced consultants working together in a fast-paced environment.

  • Be comfortable with technology, technology concepts and describing them in an understandable and approachable manner.

  • Build and foster relationships with Irish and international client contacts.

  • Recognize opportunities during ongoing projects to expand BSI involvement.

  • Perform an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work delivered on time.

  • Provide pre-sales support to commercial team where required

  • Participate in client and internal team meetings and training sessions.

We are currently looking to recruit a talented individual who has a background in eDiscovery and Forensics.

This is an exciting opportunity in our eDiscovery and Forensics department, working as eDiscovery and Digital Forensics Consultant within the Cybersecurity & Information Resilience team.

Cybersecurity and Information Resilience is key to helping clients safely manage and secure their information, strengthen their information governance and safeguard their critical infrastructure.

At least 3+ years’ IT experience or a technical customer support role is required. This role is a spring board to multiple opportunities within the organisation over the next 3 years.

Relevant experience, particularly in the areas of eDiscovery and/or Digital Forensics is preferred.

A third level qualification is essential in a related field with some further professional training and certification.

Expert knowledge of Forensic applications, Operating Systems, Network and Security Devices or eDiscovery platforms is preferable.

Candidates should be:

· Proactive, have the ability to take ownership and have a “can do” approach.

· An awareness of project management principles is desired.

· Customer focused with the ability to react quickly and with a sense of urgency to requests, issues, emails or other events.

· Have excellent English and be articulate in both written and verbal communication.

This position may require some occasional European travel and work abroad for short periods.
