•Creating a vision of what we are trying to achieve and conveying this to the development team.
•Writing user stories, acceptance criteria, grooming and prioritizing backlog.
•Ensuring the timely availability and accuracy of requirements, so the engineering teams can develop software as efficiently as possible.
•Understanding the dependencies between technology components and how they combine to deliver solutions to the end consumer and to the business.
•Balancing commercial needs against technical requirements and capabilities.
•Ensuring all solutions meet company-wide, requirements in terms of non-functional performance, security, compliance, social responsibility
•Work closely with peers in product, R&D and the wider Ellucian organisation to identify, design, estimate and prioritise change on the product roadmap.

•5+ years working in a similar role in an Agile/Scrum product development environment
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, able to confidently present and influence senior management.
•Comfortable presenting and demonstrating product updates to an executive-level audience and other stakeholders
•Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical people
•Strong ability to communicate product vision and decisions across geographically distributed teams
•Ability to balance conflicting priorities – you will be required to work on multiple projects simultaneously
•Strong skills in planning, organization, scheduling, problem solving
•Experience working with a distributed development team.
