Sales and Relationship Manager
Maintain primary responsibility for managing a number of strategic customer relationships, sales and profitability opportunities within Ireland.
Execute the sales strategy to drive product market share, revenue and local volume growth for the Irish market
Develop multiple relationships across the issuing client base with a view to becoming a trusted advisor and ultimately be responsible for driving the sale and optimization of MasterCard products and solutions for issuers and their customers.
Identify opportunities for new products and/or product enhancements that drive business growth and work with the Commercial Product and Customer Delivery groups to develop.
Do you have extensive, relevant experience in sales, preferably including a card based payments business?
Do you have a track record of meeting/exceeding quotas, navigating adverse environments and turning around difficult relationships?
Are you a self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative?
Be responsible for new sales development and existing account management activities for a number of key customers and prospects in the country, including monitoring customer satisfaction with MasterCards products and services.
Develop a robust sales pipeline and execute against this pipeline for all MasterCard core products and solutions including consumer credit, debit and pre-paid.
Develop strong and enduring customer relationships in order to execute against mutual agreed objectives across all operational functions (fraud, marketing, operations, acquiring, and business analysis) based on a strong understanding of Customer organisational politics and future strategy.
Establish a network of relationships with MasterCards acquirer and issuer community as well as developing in depth relationships with key influencers in the Irish market
Develop and drive the sales approach for MasterCard products and solutions and demonstrate product expertise with clients to drive sales, conversions and optimization initiatives.
Understand customer business strategies and deliver against sales targets for MasterCard products/services.
All About You
Extensive, relevant experience in sales, preferably including a card based payments business, with strong technical and product knowledge and expertise.
Strong experience and successful track record in sales and marketing products and solutions to acquirers, merchants and issuers
Must demonstrate strong influencing ,negotiation and leadership skills with the ability to drive business on own initiative
Extensive industry knowledge and networking with an entrepreneurial approach and vision.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to conceptualise, structure, write, and present information to both internal and external audiences as needed
Ability to challenge existing mantras in a constructive and diplomatic manner
Able to operate and demonstrate success in a fast moving and internationally matrixed organization and working across functional teams
