We support the organization through the delivery of automation solutions, using existing, new and emerging technologies to enhance savings, improve productivity and quality and reduce cost. The Associate Director for Payment Integrity Automation is responsible for overseeing the programs, projects and initiatives that are being managed by the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Pipeline team as well as providing management support to one of the RPA delivery teams. The position will involve engaging with Business and Technology stakeholders to the extent needed in order to assess, size and prioritize automation projects and initiatives in a timely, and accurate manner.

In addition, reporting, forecasting, planning and tracking resource impacts from projects will be a key requirement of the role.

Primary Responsibilities: Manage, support and develop the PI Automation Pipeline team Engage the business to drive automation initiatives from ideation, through suitability assessment to sizing and prioritization in accordance with the agreed delivery methodology, standards and SLAs Ensure high quality deliverables are created as part of the handover package to the RPA delivery Teams Ensure the successful deployment of Automation solutions to the Payment Integrity business within a timely, accurate, compliant and cost effective manner as needed Provide escalation point for the effective removal of blockers and escalation at all levels Identify and manage risks and dependencies and effectively manage these across internal departments Engage with cross functional delivery partners to ensure automation standards of delivery and best practice are embedded across the automation team Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience Significant experience managing or leading teams Extensive experience in managing business or Technology projects Considerable experience in Process Analysis and Process re-engineering Proven experience of successfully delivering projects in highly pressurised environment Experience working with senior executives/leadership and presenting new processes and recommendations Background in business process operations and software delivery processes with excellent client facing skills Experience of managing and motivating a cross discipline team Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented Exposure to Agile delivery methods Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Health Insurance industry Experience working with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) applications such as UiPath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere Six Sigma Black Belt Strong Reporting / Analytics skillset Experience using ticketing and tracking tools such as JIRA Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook Experience working in a global, matrixed organization Careers with Optum.
