Data Analytics Specialist, Supply Chain Centre of Excellence

Extreme Networks is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Specialist to help centralize all supply chain data analytics within the new Supply Chain Centre of Excellence. The hallmark of a successful CoE is ensuring fact-based, data-driven measurements of business performance. Reporting to the Director of the Supply Chain Processes & Technology, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring availability of on demand analytics and reporting throughout the Extreme Supply Chain. Due to a number of recent acquisitions, Extreme is preparing to make the next leap forward in Supply Chain Management and this exciting new opportunity will be an integral part of delivering a world class Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Responsible for compilation of monthly dashboard on Supply Chain Cost, Quality and Delivery Performance metrics.

  • Work with the Supply Chain functional leadership to develop reporting requirements based on real business value.

  • Support the business in terms of interpreting complex datasets, analysing results using statistical techniques and providing key business reports.

  • Support the development and implementation of databases to aid data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.

  • Compiling multiple sources of disparate data to identify trends and/or root causes.

  • Provide Project Management Support for Supply Chain Transformational Projects to the Center of Excellence Business Improvement Team.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  • 3-5 Years’ experience as a Data Analyst and/or Reporting Analyst in a Supply Chain environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills including PowerPivot a critical requirement.

  • Experience in applications such as PowerBI a distinct advantage.

  • Strong understanding of Data Analytics with experience in Data Warehouse reporting such as Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE).

  • Logical thinker with strong analytical skills and strong communication skills.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with proficiency in MS Visio, MS Project, advanced MS Excel.

  • Highly motivated & self-directed.

  • Ability to interface professionally with all levels & functions of the organization.

  • Exceptional attention to detail & highly organized.

  • Ability to multi-task & prioritize.

  • Experience with Oracle ERP data management.

  • Background in Project Management desirable.
